Rev. Dr. Gregory Wagenfuhr, Executive Transitional Pastor
Rev. Dr. Wagenfuhr and his wife Ainhoa are here with us for a time of transition. He received his BA from Wheaton College in Philosophy and Ancient Languages in 2005, his MDiv from Westminster Theological Seminary in 2009, and his PhD in Theology and Religious Studies from the University of Bristol (UK) in 2013. He has presented a numerous international academic conferences and has published on matters of modern theology and ethics. He has just published a book on economy and theology, Plundering Egypt (Cascade, 2016).
Greg would love to meet with you to discuss questions of faith, religion, the uniqueness of Jesus, and many other things. He believes the gospel subverts the narratives of any and every social group in ancient and modern times. Check out his website at gpwagenfuhr.com.

Rev. Lois Goodman, Pastoral Assistant
Lois loves to visit with those who are homebound and in nursing homes. She also loves to teach Bible studies and Intergenerational studies. She has a heart for all ages and bringing them together to worship and learn more about faith in Jesus Christ.
Lois has a brother who lives in Northern California . She loves to spend time with her family, and keeps up with her extended family. She likes to take long walks, go horseback riding, and she loves to read.
Kay Sigler, Church and Financial Secretary
Kay has been with us for three years now. Kay keeps the church running smoothly and does a wonderful job at it. Kay loves spending time with her 3 children and 5 grandchildren, she also loves photography and has some wonderful pictures of God's creation in our area, scrap-booking and card making.
Although Kay worships in another church she says that she is amazed by the kindness and acceptance of the people here.
Richard Clark, Leader of the Praise and Worship Band
Richard has been a constant member of the church's Praise & Worship Band for the past twelve years. An alumnus of Berklee College of Music in Boston, Richard calls music (teaching and performing) his primary vocation and profession. While attending further music studies in Los Angeles, he studied privately with Nick Ceroli (Herb Alpert's TJB drummer) and recorded at A & M Studios. He feels blessed to work with the most loyal, dedicated team members imaginable to take Worship to the Lord in song.
Ed Kaelberer, Church Organist
Ed is a graduate of Concordia University, Seward, Nebraska. Ed and his wife, Ruth, have lived in Cañon City since 1999. Ed has a passion for the wonderful musical tradition of the church.
Paula Sheagley, Choir Accompanist
Paula was born and raised in Phillipsburg, Kansas and married her childhood sweetheart Andrew Sheagley in 1968 (a Presbyterian minister's son). They have raised 3 children (Kari, Eric, Rebecca) in this beautiful church, where they were also nurtured by the warm church family. Since 1973, She has been involved in many capacities of the UPC music ministry and is currently the choir accompanist.
Paula's joys that fill her retirement life (recently retired from STM Hospital), are her grandchildren, friends, traveling, piano, singing, tandem bicycling, shopping, cooking and community volunteer work.
